04:38 PM EDT, 08/27/2024 (MT Newswires) -- SentinelOne ( S ) unexpectedly swung to fiscal second-quarter earnings year-over-year as the cybersecurity company's revenue rose above Wall Street's estimates.
SentinelOne ( S ) reported adjusted earnings of $0.01 a share for the three months ended July 31, compared with a $0.08 loss a year ago. The Capital IQ-polled consensus was for a break-even point. Revenue advanced 33% to $198.9 million, ahead of analysts' $197.4 million view.
Annualized recurring revenue, or ARR, increased 32% to $806 million at the end of July, while the number of customers with ARR of at least $100,000 climbed 24%, according to the company.
SentinelOne ( S ) anticipates reporting fiscal 2025 revenue of $815 million, compared with the previous $808 million to $815 million range. The Street is looking at $813.7 million.
SentinelOne ( S ) expects revenue of $209.5 million in its third quarter, versus the $209.7 million consensus view.
Shares of the company fell 2.4% in after-hours trading.
