Serabi Gold Up 3% In UK Trade As Names New Chief Financial Officer and a New Chief Operating Officer

07:35 AM EST, 01/02/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Serabi Gold ( SRBIF ) was at last look up 3% in early afternoon trade Thursday in the UK after the company named a new chief financial officer and also a new chief operating officer.

The company appointed Colm Howlin, who was previously the group controller of Serabi, to the role of chief financial officer of the company to replace Clive Line.

It also named Marcus Brewster as the company's new chief operating officer. Howlin and Brewster are not being appointed to the board of directors.

Finance director Clive Line retired and stood down from his role as a director of the company with effect from Dec. 31. Line has agreed with the Board to remain available to assist the Company as required for a period of up to a further six months.

Shares of the company closed flat at $2.010 on Tuesday on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
