08:23 AM EDT, 08/14/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Serve Robotics ( SERV ) said Wednesday it is collaborating with Shake Shack ( SHAK ) to deliver orders made through Uber Technologies' ( UBER ) Uber Eats via its sidewalk delivery robots.

The automated deliveries will begin at certain Shake Shack ( SHAK ) restaurants in Los Angeles as part of Serve's commitment to deploy up to 2,000 AI-powered sidewalk delivery robots on the Uber ( UBER ) platform across the US in 2025, the company said.

Financial terms were not disclosed.

Serve shares were more than 26% higher in recent premarket trading.
