01:52 PM EDT, 05/01/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Shell (SHEL) said Thursday its subsidiaries Shell Offshore and Shell Pipeline Company completed the acquisition of working interest in the Ursa platform in Gulf of America.

As a result, the companies increased their stake in the Ursa platform to 61.3484% from 45.3884%, according to a statement.

The acquisition of working interest is part of Shell's plans to invest in profitable and carbon-competitive oil and gas projects with a solid value chain, the company said.
