10:29 AM EDT, 09/09/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Shell (SHEL) unit Shell Energy Europe said Tuesday it entered into a 10-year natural gas sales agreement with Hungarian firm MVM CEEnergy.

Under the agreement, effective January 2026, Shell Energy said it will deliver around 200 million cubic meters of natural gas annually.

The collaboration will enable Shell Energy to help boost energy security across Central Europe, the company said.

Shell shares rose 1.3% in recent trading Tuesday.
