Shell resumes production at Appomattox as tropical storm shifts

Sept 25 (Reuters) - Shell said on Tuesday that

following a change in the forecast track of Tropical Storm

Helene, it has started to restore production at the Appomattox

platform in the Gulf of Mexico to normal levels.

"We have also begun the process of restoring production at

stones," the company said, referring to its Stones oil platform

in the Gulf of Mexico.
