06:46 AM EDT, 03/21/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Shell (SHEL) said late Wednesday that its unit, Shell New Energies US, had sold its 50% stake in SouthCoast Wind Energy to joint venture partner Ocean Winds North America, effective immediately.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

SouthCoast Wind was formed in 2018 as a 50-50 joint venture between the Shell unit and Ocean Winds.
