11:36 AM EDT, 06/20/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Shenandoah Telecommunications ( SHEN ) said Friday it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire the assets and operations of Blacksburg Broadband, which operates under the name WideOpen Blacksburg.

The acquisition is expected to support Shenandoah's plans to expand its Glo Fiber high-speed internet service in the Blacksburg, Virginia, area.

The transaction is expected to close in early to mid-July, the company said.
