04:43 PM EDT, 10/01/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Sherwin-Williams ( SHW ) said late Wednesday it closed the acquisition of BASF's Brazilian architectural paints unit Suvinil.

The company said it expects Suvinil to boost its consolidated sales by a low single-digit percentage in Q4 compared with the quarter in the prior year, with an immaterial impact on diluted net income per share in the quarter.

The transaction was valued at $1.15 billion in cash, the companies said in February.
