11:37 AM EST, 11/08/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Shift4 Payments' ( FOUR ) expected growth ramp in the second half is achievable on the back of seasonality benefits, a "healthy" contract pipeline, strong SkyTab performance, and international expansion, Morgan Stanley said in a note Friday.
The company has about $25 billion worth of contracts to be implemented in H2 and its large stadium wins from recent quarters have started to yield more meaningful volumes while organic growth headwinds from softer spend could be offset by the integration of recently completed Revel and Vectron acquisitions, according to the note.
However, the investment firm noted that Shift4 Payments' ( FOUR ) gateway contributions could continue to decline and become a smaller contributor to the company's end-to-end volume growth.
Morgan Stanley reiterated its equal-weight rating on Shift4 Payments ( FOUR ), with a higher price target of $95 from $70.
Shift4 Payments ( FOUR ) shares were up more than 4% in recent trading.
