09:23 AM EDT, 08/26/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Shift4 Payments ( FOUR ) said Monday it signed a deal to acquire Givex in a deal worth 200 million Canadian dollars ($148.2 million).

Under the deal, Givex shareholders will receive 1.50 Canadian dollars in cash for each share held.

The transaction is expected to close in Q4.

Acquiring Givex - a provider of gift cards, loyalty programs and point-of-sale technology - would add over 130,000 locations to Shift4's customer base, Shift4 said.
