11:30 AM EDT, 08/26/2024 (MT Newswires) -- ShiftPixy ( PIXY ) said Monday it priced a reasonable best-efforts offering of its securities for about $2.5 million in gross proceeds.

The offering comprises roughly 2.4 million common shares, or common share equivalents in lieu of such shares, together with series A warrants to acquire up to 2.4 million shares and series B warrants to buy up to 2.4 million shares at $1.04 each, according to ShiftPixy ( PIXY ).

Each series A and B warrant is exercisable at $1.04 per share.

ShiftPixy ( PIXY ) said it expects the offering to close Tuesday and plans to use the net proceeds for general corporate purposes.

The company's shares were up 2.9% in recent trading.
