10:27 AM EST, 01/07/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Shopify ( SHOP ) has acquired web domains Shop.ca and Shop.us from Emerge Commerce for $375,000, Emerge Commerce said Tuesday.

Users of the domains are now automatically rerouted to Shopify's ( SHOP ) Shop App following the sale, Emerge Commerce added.

Shopify ( SHOP ) shares were down nearly 3% in recent trading.
