Analysts polled by FactSet expected $0.29.

Revenue for the quarter ended June 30 was $2.68 billion, compared with $2.05 billion a year earlier.

Analysts polled by FactSet expected $2.55 billion.

The company said it expects Q3 revenue growth of a mid-to-high twenties percentage rate. Analysts polled by FactSet expect $2.63 billion.

Shares of Shopify ( SHOP ) were up more than 16% in recent premarket activity.
