BERLIN, Aug 7 (Reuters) - Siemens CFO Ralf Thomas said

on Thursday that "the last word has perhaps not yet been spoken"

on Switzerland's tariff row with the United States.

"There are always negotiations, sometimes even

renegotiations, and it would therefore be irresponsible to

immediately break out into major activities with every single

announcement on the subject," Thomas said during a news

conference on its quarterly results.
