Sienna Senior Living Launches Northern Heights and Brantford Campus in Ontario
Sep 8, 2025 2:09 PM

04:45 PM EDT, 09/08/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Sienna Senior Living ( LWSCF ) after trade Monday said it opened Northern Heights, its first completed long-term care redevelopment project.

The new 160-bed facility, located in North Bay, Ontario, replaces an older 148-bed site and is already welcoming residents, the company said, adding that it expects full occupancy within two months.

The company said it also completed a new campus in Brantford, Ontario, which includes a 160-bed long-term care home and 147 retirement suites at Aspira Brants Landing. The long-term care residents will relocate soon, with full occupancy expected by the end of 2025.

Both projects were finished on schedule and within budget, and were constructed on greenfield sites, allowing for the sale of the two older Class C properties for gross proceeds of $8.5 million, the company said.

Sienna added that it is also building a long-term care home in Keswick, Ontario, set to open in early 2027.

The company's shares closed up $0.28 to $18.29 on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
