Sienna Senior Living Opens Long-Term Care Community Redevelopment in Brantford, Ontario

11:30 AM EDT, 10/21/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Sienna Senior Living ( LWSCF ) Tuesday said it officially opened its Oakwood Commons Community in Brantford, Ontario, its second long-term care redevelopment project completed in 2025.

The company said that the Oakwood Commons is a 160-bed long-term care community, replacing 122 older Class C beds. Oakwood Commons is part of Sienna's campus of care development project.

With recently completed long-term care redevelopment project in North Bay, the company has added $220 million of greenfield development projects this year. The company expects each development project to have a significant impact on its operating results and improve its adjusted funds from operations by an average of about 3%, once fully operational.

Shares of the company were last seen down 1% at $19.21 on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
