Silgan Holdings to Acquire Weener Plastics for About $908 Million

07:45 AM EDT, 07/24/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Silgan Holdings ( SLGN ) said Wednesday it has signed a sale and purchase agreement to acquire Weener Plastics Holdings for an enterprise value of 838 million euros ($908.4 million).

The acquisition, expected to close in Q4, is subject to regulatory approvals and customary conditions, the company said.

Silgan ( SLGN ) said it plans to fund the acquisition with a combination of cash on hand and borrowings under its senior secured credit facility.
