08:46 AM EST, 01/27/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Silgan Holdings ( SLGN ) said Monday it has named Philippe Chevrier as chief operating officer, effective Feb. 3.

Chevrier will also join the company's executive office, a team which sets the company's strategic direction, Silgan ( SLGN ) said.

Chevrier most recently served at Hexcel ( HXL ) as president of the Americas and the company's global fibers business and previously spent 20 years at Honeywell International ( HON ) .
