Silicon Laboratories Swings to Fiscal Q1 Loss as Revenue Drops; Sets Fiscal Q2 Outlook

09:29 AM EDT, 04/24/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Silicon Laboratories ( SLAB ) reported a fiscal Q1 loss Wednesday of $1.77 per diluted share, swinging from earnings of $0.41 per share a year earlier.

Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected a loss of $1.97.

Revenue for the quarter ended March 30 was $106.4 million, down from $246.8 million a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $105 million.

The company said it expects a fiscal Q2 diluted loss per share between $1.45 and $1.61 and revenue between $135 million and $145 million. Analysts polled by Capital IQ expect a loss of $1.13 per share and revenue of $142 million.
