04:38 PM EDT, 07/25/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Silver Elephant Mining ( SILEF ) on Thursday said it raised $1.11 million in the first tranche of a private placement of share units.
The company said it placed 2.3-million units, in the tranche, with each priced at $0.48 and made up of a share and a three-year warrant to buy a second share for $0.70..
Silver Elephant will use the proceeds to commission phase-one sulphide operations at its Paca silver project in Bolivia, and for general corporate purposes.
The company's shares closed down $0.01 to $0.465 on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
