08:20 AM EDT, 06/18/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Silver Mountain Resources ( AGMRF ) on Tuesday said Peruvian authorities extended until 2034 the company's environmental permit for its Reliquias Mine, Caudalosa Mine and all their components in central Peru.

"We continue to hit the key milestones for our Reliquias Mine as planned," said Alvaro Espinoza, CEO of Silver Mountain. "Extending the Reliquias EIA is part of the permitting process which will allow us to start operations."

Espinoza said the main environmental certification covers the initial years of production and any resources that may be incorporated through its planned resource expansion programs.
