02:25 PM EDT, 10/28/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Silver Viper Minerals ( VIPRF ) said Tuesday it is acquiring 100% ownership of the Coneto project in Durango, Mexico, in an all-share transaction that values the project at US$15 million.

The company will issue shares at a deemed price of $0.80 each to acquire the 61.2% equity stake held by Fresnilo and Orex Minerals' (REX.V) 38.8%. Fresnillo is expected to hold 17% and Orex, 11% of Silver Viper shares on a non-diluted basis following closing.

The transaction is expected to close by January.

Silver Viper shares were halted prior to its announcement no timing for a resumption has been announced. They last traded Monday, closing at $0.94 on the TSX Venture Exchange.
