10:24 AM EST, 11/12/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Silvercorp Metals ( SVM ) said Wednesday that Winnie Wang has been appointed as interim chief financial officer, effective immediately.

Wang, who most recently served as CFO of Silvercorp's China operations, succeeds Derek Liu, who retired on Nov. 10 after serving in the role since 2015, the company said.

Additionally, the company said Lei Wu has been appointed as corporate controller, responsible for financial reporting, planning, operations, and treasury management.

Silvercorp Metals ( SVM ) shares were 3.9% higher in recent trading Wednesday.
