08:09 AM EDT, 09/17/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Silvercorp Metals ( SVM ) said Tuesday it is launching a new normal course issuer bid to buy up to roughly 8.7 million of its common shares, starting Thursday.

The new stock buyback plan will expire Sept. 18, 2025, the company added.

The share repurchase plan is a continuation of the program approved from Sept. 19, 2023, to Sept. 18 this year to buy up to 8.5 million of its common stock, Silvercorp said.
