Singularity Growth, a private equity platform, has successfully completed the initial round of funding for its Singularity Growth Opportunities Fund-II, securing ₹500 crore out of the total ₹1,500 crore fund size.

This fund is earmarked for investments in various sectors, including energy transition, consumer goods, financial services, enterprise software, and unique manufacturing enterprises.

Additionally, the fund will judiciously explore growth equity opportunities in publicly traded companies. Over the next 2-3 years, the fund aims to make investments ranging from ₹75 crore to ₹175 crore per company, with a target of 14-18 deals.

Singularity Growth introduced its first fund in 2021, successfully closing it at ₹560 crore in March 2023. Notable investments from Fund-I included companies such as All-Cargo Logistics, Jana Small Finance Bank, and Samhi Hotels, among others.
