SiriusPoint to Sell 49% Stake in Arcadian Risk to Lee Equity for $139 Million

06:32 AM EDT, 10/06/2025 (MT Newswires) -- SiriusPoint ( SPNT ) said Monday it will sell its 49% stake in Arcadian Risk Capital to Lee Equity Partners for $139 million, including a pre-close dividend.

The company said it has also renewed and extended its capacity partnership with Arcadian through 2031.

The deal is expected to close by Q1 2026, and SiriusPoint ( SPNT ) expects to record an additional pre-tax gain of $25 million to $30 million, on top of a $96 million gain reported in Q2 2024, it added.
