SiriusXM Clinches Multi-Year Programming Deal With 'Call Her Daddy' Podcaster; Shares Rise

11:40 AM EDT, 08/20/2024 (MT Newswires) -- SiriusXM (SIRI) said Tuesday it has entered into a multi-year programming development strategy agreement with podcaster Alex Cooper.

Under the deal, the audio entertainment company said it agreed to work on exclusive programming with Cooper that is expected to be rolled out starting next year.

The company said it will also have exclusive rights for advertising, distribution, content and events for Cooper's popular podcast "Call Her Daddy" as well as her Unwell Audio Network's lineup of shows.

Financial details of the deal were not disclosed.

Shares of SiriusXM rose 6% in recent trading.
