07:56 AM EDT, 10/10/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Six Flags Entertainment ( FUN ) said Friday that Executive Chairman Selim Bassoul will step down from the board from Dec. 31.

Following the departures of Bassoul and Lead Independent Director Daniel J. Hanrahan, the company said the board will have 10 members.

Marilyn Spiegel will become non-executive Chair starting Jan. 1, 2026, the company said.

It added that Bassoul will continue working with the company as a consultant, helping oversee the development of Six Flags Qiddiya City in Saudi Arabia, which is set to open in the first half of 2026.
