08:34 AM EDT, 03/25/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Six Flags Entertainment ( FUN ) said Wednesday it has named Richard Haddrill as executive chairman of the company's board, effective immediately.

Marilyn Spiegel, who has served as nonexecutive chair since January, will become lead independent director, the company said.

Haddrill was previously executive vice chairman of the board of Scientific Games, now called Light & Wonder ( LNWO ) , and prior to that, he was chief executive of Bally Technologies, Six Flags said.

Including Haddrill's appointment, Six Flags said it has added seven new directors to its board since last summer.
