11:42 AM EDT, 09/03/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Skyward Specialty Insurance ( SKWD ) has formed a joint venture with Bishop Street Underwriters to help strengthen the latter's managing general agent, or MGA, platform, Bishop Street said Tuesday.

The venture will help Bishop Street bolster MGAs and support existing program expansion, as well as new product and program launches, among other initiatives, Bishop Street added.

Bishop Street is owned by private investment firm RedBird Capital Partners.
