07:39 AM EDT, 05/06/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Skyward Specialty Insurance ( SKWD ) said Monday that The Westaim Corporation subsidiary Westaim HIIG GP Inc. is offering 4.4 million shares of the company's common stock in an underwritten secondary public offering.

The selling stockholder has also granted the underwriters a 30-day option to buy up to 660,000 additional shares of Skyward Specialty's common stock.

The company said it will not receive any proceeds from the sale of the shares of its common stock by the selling stockholder.
