10:31 AM EDT, 05/21/2025 (MT Newswires) -- SKYX Platforms ( SKYX ) said Wednesday it has collaborated with a $3 billion mixed-use smart city project in Miami's Little River District to deliver over 500,000 plug-and-play smart home devices.

The company's technology suite includes smart ceiling outlets, AI-enabled platforms, lighting systems, and emergency equipment designed to improve home safety and efficiency, SKYX Platforms ( SKYX ) said.

Each apartment will be equipped with SKYX's all-in-one smart home system, featuring app and voice controls, emergency calling, intercom, safety lighting, and smoke/CO detection, it added.

The project will cover 63 acres and deliver 5,700 residential units, including 2,400 homes, along with retail space, green areas, and a $35 million Tri-Rail station, according to the company.

SKYX Platforms ( SKYX ) said it expects recurring revenue from future product upgrades, subscriptions, and integration across ongoing and future smart city developments.

Shares of the company were up about 5.8% in recent trading.
