09:16 AM EDT, 07/16/2025 (MT Newswires) -- SLB (SLB) said Wednesday it has completed its previously announced acquisition of ChampionX ( CHX ).

Under the terms of the deal, ChampionX ( CHX ) stockholders received 0.735 shares of SLB's common stock for each share they hold. They now own about 9% of SLB's stake.

SLB said it anticipates realizing annual pretax synergies from the ChampionX ( CHX ) deal of about $400 million within the first three years post-closing through revenue and cost savings.

The deal was first announced in April last year.

Shares of SLB added 0.6% in recent premarket activity Wednesday.
