SLB Obtains Contract From Petrobras to Provide Completion Technology for Wells in Brazil's Santos Basin

09:28 AM EDT, 09/25/2025 (MT Newswires) -- SLB (SLB) said Thursday it received a contract from Petrobras (PBR) to provide completion technologies and services for up to 35 ultra-deepwater wells in Brazil's Santos Basin.

Financial terms were not disclosed.

Under the terms of the contract, SLB said it will deploy its electric completions technologies and digital services to enhance reservoir management and provide real-time production intelligence.

The work is anticipated to start in mid-2026, SLB said.
