SLB Says OneSubsea JV Awarded Contract for Deepwater Project in South China Sea

09:26 AM EDT, 03/17/2026 (MT Newswires) -- SLB (SLB) said Tuesday that its OneSubsea joint venture has been awarded a multi-well integrated engineering, procurement and construction contract by China National Offshore Oil Corporation for the Kaiping 18-1 deepwater development in the South China Sea.

The contract covers 20 wells and includes the delivery of integrated subsea production systems, the company said.

SLB said execution will include regional partners and in-country manufacturing to support supply chain capabilities and streamline delivery.

Financial details of the contract were not disclosed.
