07:08 AM EDT, 08/20/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Sleep Country Canada Holdings ( SCCAF ) overnight Monday said it received an advance ruling under the Competition Act, paving the way for Fairfax Financial ( FRFHF ) to complete its acquisition of the sleep products retailer for $35 cash per share.

Sleep Country has filed and is now mailing the management proxy circular for the special meeting of shareholders to be held on September 18 to approve the proposed acquisition.
