11:07 AM EDT, 06/16/2025 (MT Newswires) -- SmartRent ( SMRT ) said Monday that it appointed Frank Martell as its president and chief executive officer, starting immediately.

Martell will replace John Dorman, who had been serving in the interim role since April 9, a regulatory filing shows. Dorman will continue to serve as Chairman.

Martell most recently served as CEO of LoanDepot ( LDI ) , according to SmartRent ( SMRT ).

Shares of the company were up 5.1% in recent trading.
