03:29 AM EDT, 08/27/2025 (MT Newswires) -- SmartStop Self Storage REIT ( SMA ) said late Tuesday it has acquired five self-storage properties in Canada's Alberta province.

Financial terms were not disclosed.

The acquisition of the Edmonton, Sherwood Park, Red Deer County, Canmore and Cochrane properties brings SmartStop's Canadian portfolio to 49 operating assets and adds about 330,000 net rentable square feet, the company said.
