04:19 AM EDT, 06/12/2025 (MT Newswires) -- SmartStop Self Storage REIT ( SMA ) said late Wednesday its affiliated operating arm will issue 500 million Canadian dollars ($365.8 million) of series A senior unsecured notes due 2028, with a 3.91% annual interest rate.

The company said the proceeds from the offering, set to close on June 16, will be used to repay higher-interest debt, support acquisitions, and for general corporate needs.
