12:18 PM EDT, 03/24/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Smith-Midland ( SMID ) said Tuesday it was selected to supply $5.4 million in precast concrete noise wall systems for the Complete 540-Triangle Expressway Southeast Extension Project Segment B.

The North Carolina Department of Transportation owns this project and construction is handled by Flatiron Dragados, the company said.

All project components will be produced at the North Carolina plant, with manufacturing set to start in May and delivery and installation expected to commence in July, according to the company.
