April 28 (Reuters) - Solar module manufacturer
JinkoSolar ( JKS ) said a fire on Friday at one of its silicon
wafer slicing and solar cell manufacturing workshops was
expected to impact its operations and financial results in 2024.
In a statement on Sunday, JinkoSolar ( JKS ) said it is reallocating
wafer and cell production among different workshops after the
fire, which had broken out at a factory in China's Shanxi
province, to minimize disruption to its manufacturing process.
There were no casualties from the fire and the cause of the
blaze is under investigation, the company added.
JinkoSolar ( JKS ), headquartered in Shanghai, builds solar power
products from silicon wafers to solar modules.
