06:00 AM EDT, 05/06/2024 (MT Newswires) -- SolarBank ( SUUN ) said Monday it has leased a 30-acre site in upstate New York to develop a 3.2-megawatt ground-mounted community solar power project.

The company has already submitted requests to connect the project to the local power grid and will commence construction as soon as it receives the required approvals.

SolarBank ( SUUN ) also expects the project to be for eligible for incentives under the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority's NY-Sun Program.
