11:57 AM EST, 12/03/2024 (MT Newswires) -- SolarEdge Technologies ( SEDG ) said Tuesday it has introduced its commercial energy storage system, "CSS-OD," for the German market.
The system works with SolarEdge's ( SEDG ) solar inverter and power optimizer, comprising a 102.4 kilowatt-hour battery cabinet and a 50kW battery inverter, expandable to 1 megawatt-hour per site.
The CSS-OD is powered by SolarEdge ONE for C&I, a software-based platform that optimizes energy by syncing site production and storage to lower costs, the company said, adding that it supports various optimization modes, including self-consumption, peak shaving, and tariff optimization for dynamic pricing and grid participation.
Shares of SolarEdge Technologies ( SEDG ) were down 4% in recent Tuesday trading.
