07:48 AM EDT, 08/26/2024 (MT Newswires) -- SolarEdge Technologies ( SEDG ) said Monday it has appointed Ronen Faier as interim chief executive, effective immediately.

Faier, who previously served as chief financial officer, succeeds Zvi Lando, who has stepped down. Lando will remain a board member and adviser to the company.

SolarEdge ( SEDG ) also said it has initiated a search for a new CEO with the support of a global executive search firm.

Meanwhile, Ariel Porat was named chief financial officer. Porat was senior vice president of finance of the company.
