Solaris Reports First Assays from Sampling Epithermal Mineralization at Warintza Project in Ecuador
Jun 25, 2024 4:50 AM

07:26 AM EDT, 06/25/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Solaris Resources ( SLSR ) on Tuesday released first assay results from ongoing regional exploration at the Warintza project in Ecuador.

Exploration has expanded the footprint of epithermal-style mineral alteration from the Caya area into the adjacent Mateo target and, most recently, several kilometers further south, the company said.

Highlights of the results include 11,570 grams per tonne (g/t) silver and 12.3 g/t gold across 30 centimeters of breccia outcrop discovered as part of the exploration program. Sporadic high gold values of between 4 g/t and 9 g/t, with silver values up to 150 g/t, in rock chip sampling have also been returned.

Follow-up fieldwork is underway to refine targets for exploration drilling late in the third quarter or early in the fourth quarter.

The company expects to commence in July a series of geotechnical holes in Caya-Mateo to support pre-feasibility technical studies near the epithermal target area.
