Oct 7, 2024 5:42 AM

08:20 AM EDT, 10/07/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Solaris Resources ( SLSR ) on Monday said exploration drilling at its Warintza project in Ecuador showed high-grade mineralization.

The company said best results from assays on cores from the drilling program included 93 meters testing at 1.01% copper equivalent, including gold and molybdenum mineralization, and 87 meters testing at 1.23% copper equivalent.

Solaris released assays on a total 13 holes at the site, targeting Warintza's northwest and northeast sectors, which it said have been sparsely drilled to date.

The drilling is part of the company's 60,000-meter 2024 drilling program at the property. However the company said that with 53,000 meters of drilling complete, it expects to exceed its target by the end of the fourth quarter.

Solaris shares closed up $0.05 to $3.37 Friday on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
