Solen Software Group Acquires Trackit LLC
Mar 11, 2026 7:11 AM

SALT LAKE CITY--(BUSINESS WIRE)--

Solen Software Group announced the acquisition of Trackit LLC, a provider of transit-specific, cloud-based SaaS software that helps public transportation agencies work together through a configurable, paperless system supporting compliance and cross-department collaboration. The transaction closed in February 2026.

Founded by Mark Anderson in 2013, Trackit delivers a hosted solution that brings an agency’s data and information together in one simple system without turning software into a complex IT project. By replacing paper-based workflows with searchable digital records, Trackit helps agencies reduce manual reporting, eliminate duplicate data entry, and stay audit-ready.

Trackit’s platform is designed to break down information silos by enabling data entered one time to be shared across departments as agencies decide, with permissions-based access. Trackit supports PTASP compliance and broader safety and compliance needs, including accident management, mandatory employee safety reporting, training management, form compliance, safety notifications, and drug and alcohol reporting. More than 100 transit agencies have adopted Trackit to develop agency-wide safety plans with sophisticated record keeping.

Trackit includes a suite of modules to fit agency needs, such as Attendance, Claims, Compliance, Customer Service, Doc/Date Compliance, eLearning, Event Logging, Form Compliance, Form Manager, and HR Manager, along with training and support included in the license. Trackit also offers rapid implementation, with agencies able to get up and running in as little as one day.

“Trackit has grown significantly, now supporting over 100 transit locations in running their agencies more effectively. After looking at various options to move into the future, we believe Solen Software Group, as a permanent home, will allow us to grow and better service our Transit customers,” said Mark Anderson, President of Trackit. "Trackit's vision continues, and customers can expect the same high level of support with all the same people involved."

“Solen is a permanent home for enduring, customer-centric software companies,” said Alexander Spencer, Founder and CEO of Solen Software Group. “Trackit has built deep trust with transit agencies by making compliance, recordkeeping, and cross-department collaboration simpler without adding IT burden. We’re excited to invest in the product, support the team, and help more agencies modernize operations with confidence.”

Trackit Transit will continue operating with autonomy, with Solen supporting the business through long-term ownership and optional shared services, allowing the Trackit team to remain focused on product development and customer support.
