04:16 PM EDT, 07/31/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Sona Nanotech ( SNANF ) after trade Friday said it plans to raise up to C$2.4 million through a private placement of up to 8-million shares at C$0.30 each.

"Insiders and certain other existing shareholders of Sona may also subscribe for shares under the financing," it added.

Proceeds will be used to advance clinical studies and ongoing research for the company's Targeted Hyperthermia Therapy cancer treatment, as well as for general working capital, Sona said.
