Sonida Closes Senior Living Acquisition in Texas for $15.6 Million

08:51 AM EDT, 09/10/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Sonida Senior Living ( SNDA ) said Wednesday it closed the acquisition of a 98-unit senior housing community in Mansfield, Texas for about $15.6 million.

The community comprises 62 assisted living and 36 memory care units and was acquired for roughly $159,000 per unit, the company said.

Sonida said it funded the transaction with cash on hand and proceeds from its senior secured revolving credit facility and expects a double digit cap rate upon stabilization.
